Notification History - Free Version User Guide
Overview
Notification History saves details of notifications when they are removed from the Notification Area of your Android Device.
It will keep details of the last 10 notifications, removing the oldest as new notifications are added.
To access the main app screen tap on the App Icon or tap on the Notification History item in the Notifications Area of your Device.
In the main screen. swiping a notification (left or right) will remove it from the list.
*NOTE - Paid Version Extras*
The PAID version allows you to change the number of notifications which will be kept in the history, allowing upto 250 notifications.
It also provides extra filters to eliminate unrequired system and user selected notifications in the history.
Installation
Obviously the Notification History app needs access to Notifications;

What is the annoying icon in the status bar
For convenient launching of the Notification History app there is a permanent notification in the Notification Area of your Android Device.
Unfortunately Google decided that permanent notifications shows its icon in the task bar by default unless you manually switch it off.
Here's how to turn it off (Note. the notification is still present in the Notifications Area of your device, but the annoying icon doesnt show;

Battery Optimization
Sometimes Android will stop apps running in the background to preserve battery life
If Android stops the Notification History app, it will no longer monitor new notifications and will not capture them.
As we have told android to monitor notifications, it should treat the Notification History app as a priority and won't normally terminate it.
However if you have such problems;
1. Try to manually disable battery savings;

2. Some manufacturers (eg. Huawei, Xiaomi, Samsung, Oppo, Motorola) are a bit more agressive so there may be other things to try.
